In the episode The Avatar and the Fire Lord, Sozin worries that something might have had happened to him suggesting that he might have been in battle at the time of Sozin and Roku's 16th birthday. Sozin's Father - Extremely little is known about Sozin's father.

Sozin's Grandfather - Nothing is known about him beyond that his portrait hangs in the royal gallery. For all we know this could also be Yosor or perhaps an older version of Zoryu, but I thought it was more exciting to imagine him as someone else entirely. Mai described him as cranky and thus I drew him cranky. Unknown Fire Lord - This Fire Lord is seen on the same page as the other unknown one. In my drawing of him I've tried to imagine him as I saw him while reading the novels but I have to admit that I borrowed some of the interpretation from DeviantART artist kkachi95. He eventually grew a tiny mustache but I didn't want to included that in this piece. Beyond that his facial features are described to be quite plain I believe. He's described to have a long and sharp chin as well as a tall forehead. Zoryu - He's the Fire Lord during Kyoshi's early days as the Avatar. I tried to keep that a bit in mind when imagining him in his elder days. Chaeryu is also described as having been physically strong but also an unintelligent boor. He is described to look quite similar to his son so I drew him as an alternate and older Zoryu.

There also are far too few known female Fire Lords in the world of ATLA/TLOK.Ĭhaeryu - He was the Fire Lord before Zoryu and also his father (as probably is obvious). I also did a quick search on facebook and the majority named Yosor turned out to be female so that helped me when deciding upon a gender. Since neither Yosor's appearance and gender is revealed within the Kyoshi novels I had to just make up something. Yosor - Very little is known about Yosor except for that they were Fire Lord during Avatar Szeto's time and that the two of them had a close working relationship. For all we know this could be Fire Lord Yosor. Absolutely nothing is known about him other than that he exists. Aang describes him as stoic and I've tried to incorporate that into my drawing. Unknown Fire Lord - He's seen painted on one of the walls in the catacombs from Smoke and Shadow. He is seen in a flashback in the ATLA comic Smoke and Shadow Part 2 on page 55. The First Fire Lord - Little is known about him other than that he united the Fire Islands into a single nation and put an end to the tyranny of various warlords. A headshot gallery of all known, mentioned, and displayed Fire Lords from Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, and The Rise/Shadow of Kyoshi.
